About The Position

Manager Hospital Operations (MHO): The Manager of Hospital Operations (MHO), is the house administrator/supervisor, partnering with the departments for admissions, bed placement, and coordination of care. This role will work days/nights/weekend requirements, with 3, 12-hour shifts per week. This is an exempt salaried position. Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years recent nursing experience
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • CPR – American Heart Association
  • Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).

  • Previous management experience

Responsibilities

  • Has authority and responsibility for administrative decisions and appropriate notification of the administrator on call, Legal Dept and/or Risk Management when appropriate.
  • Serves as a resource person in dealing with complex or complicated patients. Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care.
  • Facilitates patient flow, identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of patient care, ensures resources are utilized appropriately and in a cost effective manner.
  • Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures of the facility and with all regulatory requirements.
