Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in client facing roles.
  • B.A. or B.S. degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with Academic Medical Centers or Health Systems, delivering products, services or analyses preferably to healthcare customers, in health tech, AMCs / HS, or healthcare consulting organizations.
  • Comfortable communicating - verbally and in writing - with various audiences, including academic audiences.
  • Excellent time management skills and are able to prioritize tasks and proactively seek solutions or ask for help when blocked from completing a task.
  • Ability to juggle multiple client/customer interactions and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Detail oriented and have the agility to work with, develop relationships with and influence a diverse set of cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.

  • Experience owning client relationships.
  • Experience working with oncologists and members of oncology care delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining an engaged network of Academic and Health System (AMC/HS) institutional partners.
  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team focused on retaining our AMC/HS network.
  • Driving value-driven partnership interactions by ensuring every touchpoint with Flatiron opens with clear purpose and closes with tangible outcomes or next steps, building a track record that positions Flatiron as a trusted, high-value partner.
  • Mapping and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders including C-suite, research, legal, and business leaders at partner institutions.
  • Identifying and pursuing expansion opportunities within existing partnerships.
  • Leading partnership strategy and contract renewal planning, including capacity allocation discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Navigating complex institutional contracting and multi-stakeholder approval processes at AMC/health systems, driving new and existing initiatives through legal, compliance, and administrative review to signed agreement.
  • Synthesizing partner feedback on usability, gaps, and opportunities for deeper engagement into structured account plans and metrics that inform retention and growth strategy.
  • Developing and leading onsite leadership engagements and research showcases with academic partners to strengthen relationships and surface new collaboration opportunities.
  • Championing Flatiron's internal priorities and initiatives.
