About The Position

At Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a global leader in clinical diagnostics for over 90 years, we are seeking a Manager, GPTS, Heme/UA Systems. This role is responsible for managing, resourcing, controlling, and maintaining the serviceability of Hematology and Urinalysis products. As a key member of the GPTS management team, you will represent service on multi-functional business teams, manage staff and service deliverables supporting Heme/UA core teams and other projects. This position also involves taking on responsibility for cross-functional company initiatives and collaboration. The role reports to the Director of GPTS, Heme/UA Systems and is part of the Global Service Organization. While the position is remote, it requires being onsite at the Beckman Coulter facility in Miami, FL at least two weeks per month or 50% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 9+ years relevant experience OR Master's/Doctoral degree with 7+ years' relevant experience
  • Relevant experience is defined as demonstrated hands-on customer service experience in a healthcare, scientific, pharmaceutical, diagnostic or medical device environment.
  • 4+ years experience directly managing or leading people or teams
  • Lead all aspects of continuous improvement practices or DBS (Leadership, Growth, Lean) and holds teams/individuals accountable to sustainment
  • Demonstrated experience reporting status of projects, quality metrics and KPI results to leadership teams
  • This position requires up to 30% flying and/or driving travel, which includes overnight stays. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.
  • While this role is remote, the position is required to be ONSITE at the Beckman Coulter facility in Miami, FL at least two weeks of the month or 50% of the time.

  • Lead, energize, and engage individuals to achieve personal development and business goals through creation and sustainment of standard work
  • Review and evaluate service contracts with TPP's (Third Party Vendors), ensuring all of Beckman Coulter KPI's are accounted for and included in a clear and concise way
