About The Position

This is a hybrid role for a Manager, Global Strategic Sourcing IT. The position is a contract-to-hire role with an estimated duration of 12+ months, potentially converting to direct hire. The work setting is hybrid, requiring 4 days onsite and 1 day remote, with less than 25% shipboard travel. Candidates must be able to relocate as required. The role involves managing and strategically sourcing a portfolio of IT products and services, developing and issuing RFQs/RFIs/RFPs, evaluating suppliers, and partnering with leadership to leverage scale, simplify the supplier base, and reduce total cost of ownership. Project management duties, business analytics, and leveraging market intelligence are also key aspects of the role. Requirements

Experience with IT strategic sourcing and procurement, including Hardware, Software, Telecommunications, and Professional Services (7-10 years)
Experience with RFQ/RFI/RFP development, bid evaluation, and supplier analysis
Experience with IT disciplines including Cloud, Cybersecurity, Network/Connectivity, or Finance/Business Administration/Supply Chain or related
Experience in sourcing/purchasing for innovation-based and/or complex environments
Experience with Information Technology ecosystems and products
Experience in sourcing strategy creation and execution (e.g. 7 Step sourcing methodology)
Experience with Sourcing/Procurement systems
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field

Nice To Haves

Experience with advanced IT sourcing in complex or innovation-based environments
Experience with strategic supplier partnership development
CPM certification or equivalent
Master's Degree or other advanced degree in a relevant field

Responsibilities

Manage and strategically source a portfolio of IT products and services in accordance with established procurement processes
Develop and issue RFQs/RFIs/RFPs for IT goods and services; evaluate suppliers and analyze bids based on cost, quality, and other criteria
Partner with leadership and operating companies to leverage scale, simplify the supplier base, and reduce total cost of ownership
Perform project management duties, including overseeing quality delivery, and communicating progress to key stakeholders
Participate in developing and maintaining business analytics and reporting for targeted areas of responsibility
Assist Operating Companies' sourcing teams with strategic planning, procurement needs, and execution of sourcing plans
Leverage market intelligence and macroeconomic insights to develop sourcing strategies and action plans
