Global Procurement (GP) provides procurement services to both KPMG International (KPMGI) and to member firms in situations where goods and/or services are being procured for multiple member firms The Manager, Global Procurement is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the category plans for the assigned high value/high complexity and high-risk category/categories. This role also leads the contractual and commercial negotiations with third parties on medium complexity/medium risk transactions aligned with KPMG International’s risk profile and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant professional experience; Certified Procurement professional qualifications are desirable.
  • 5+ years progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or commercial negotiations within a large, complex, or global organization
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating enterprise‑level services agreements, including commercial, legal, and complex contractual term
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles, supplier management, and risk‑based decision‑making.
  • Have sound commercial and contractual acumen - Be able to help draft, negotiate and execute strong contracts. These may include; MSLA's (Master Service Level Agreements) , SLA (Service Level Agreements) SOW's (Statements of Work)
  • Experience working in a matrix environment with the ability to collaborate across regions and time zones

Responsibilities

  • Supports the development and execution of category strategies for the Knowledge Management and external content portfolio, including high‑value and high‑complexity supplier relationships
  • Leads sourcing, contractual and commercial negotiations for assigned transactions, including pricing, service levels, statements of work, and key contractual terms
  • Partners closely with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to balance business needs, commercial value, and risk mitigation in supplier engagements
  • Analyzes supplier proposals, market trends, and spend data to inform sourcing decisions, category plans, and negotiation strategies
  • Maintains accurate procurement systems and documentation, proactively identifies risks, and escalates issues in line with KPMG International policies and processes
  • Supports governance and approval processes for sourcing and contracting activities, including preparation of contract summaries, risk considerations, and decision materials for internal review forums
