About The Position

The Manager, Global Mobility, oversees the administration and compliance of associate relocation, payroll, immigration, and tax processes within a global framework. This role helps shape how associates experience career opportunities across the country. As the Domestic Relocation Manager, you will oversee a large portfolio of U.S. relocations, partnering with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless relocation experience while leveraging data, trends, and insights to continuously improve our program. This role combines operational excellence, strategic thinking, and a passion for creating an exceptional associate experience. The Global Mobility team at Walmart plays a vital role in connecting associates to opportunities that foster career growth and support business expansion. This team manages complex processes including mobility, payroll administration, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement. By continuously improving workflows and integrating technology solutions, the team ensures efficient and compliant associate movement worldwide. Members collaborate closely to develop innovative strategies that enhance service delivery and support meaningful career journeys. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in relocation, mobility, supplier management, HR operations, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with real estate transactions, corporate relocation home sale program administration and household goods regulations. (Expertise in real estate home sales and household goods management is essential because of the significant financial investment involved and the associated compliance and business risks to the company.)
  • Experience managing external suppliers and holding partners accountable to performance expectations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data and trends into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and driving process or program improvements.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong associate focus.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, information technology, or related area and 2 years' experience in business, human resources, information technology, or related area.
  • Option 2: 4 years’ experience in business, human resources, information technology, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume domestic relocation portfolio, ensuring consistent execution and policy compliance.
  • Lead relationships with relocation suppliers, holding partners accountable for service delivery, quality, and performance.
  • Monitor associate experience, identify pain points, and drive solutions that simplify the relocation journey.
  • Analyze relocation data, utilization trends, associate behaviors, market conditions, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop recommendations to enhance program effectiveness, associate satisfaction, operational efficiency, and cost stewardship.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to support workforce mobility needs.
  • Manage escalations and complex relocation scenarios while balancing associate experience and business objectives.
