In this position, you will act as a center of excellence for driving the strategic evolution of Ford’s global marketing agency ecosystem. Lead the transition from current agency models, services and approaches to a modernized, agile, and technology-forward partnership structure that supports the Ford+ plan and the company’s ongoing transformation objectives. This role spans globally across all business units and skill teams working in partnership, establishing and maintaining relationships to ensure alignment and consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
  • Experience in working with marketing communications agencies, with knowledge of best practices.
  • Ability to drive transformational change and use creativity to solve challenges.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels across various regional cultures.
  • Must be able to manage competing high priority and high visibility projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, complexity and creative problem solving.
  • Cross functional team player with experience working across multiple business units to collaborate with, influence and align stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communications, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Candidates for positions with Ford Motor Company must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a center of excellence for driving the strategic evolution of Ford’s global marketing agency ecosystem.
  • Lead the transition from current agency models, services and approaches to a modernized, agile, and technology-forward partnership structure that supports the Ford+ plan and the company’s ongoing transformation objectives.
  • Spans globally across all business units and skill teams working in partnership, establishing and maintaining relationships to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Benchmark trends, test and implement next-generation agency operating models that prioritize speed, flexibility, and integration across Ford’s global markets (North America, Europe, IMG).
  • Identify and integrate emerging technologies—including Generative AI, advanced data analytics, and MarTech tools—into the agency workflow to enhance creative output and media efficiency.
  • Partner with other Agency Management Team members and marketing communications business owners to identify and implement opportunities for innovation.
  • Identify trends, opportunities and best practices for agency relations, streamlining global processes, eliminating redundancies, and ensuring the agency roster is optimized to meet Ford’s evolving business needs.
  • Act as a primary bridge between Ford’s global marketing leadership and agency partners to foster a culture of transparency, high performance, and shared innovation objectives.
  • Develop new Frameworks for success, moving beyond traditional KPIs to measure the impact of innovation on brand health and marketing ROI.
  • Serve as a global catalyst for change, ensuring internal marketing teams and external agency partners are aligned and equipped to adopt new ways of working.
  • Proactively benchmark trends in the marketing industry to anticipate shifts in agency-client dynamics.
  • Strive to continually optimize our Agency roster, by further consolidation, technology use, low-cost country sourcing and process improvement to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Manage all Agency Transitions with robust 30-, 60- and 90-day transition plans.
  • Support for all other agency management projects and initiatives as needed.
