Act as a center of excellence in all marketing communications agency relationships by providing a strategic framework, process discipline, tools and industry expertise. Effectively manage our Global Agency partnerships to design and build a best-in-class agency ecosystem that drives innovation, attracts talent and maximizes effectiveness and efficiencies across the Enterprise. Ensure we maintain industry leading governance and processes related to our agency network. Incubate and then deliver innovative ideas that transform agency governance in support of the marketing team.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and working with teams across multiple regions.
  • Experience in working with marketing communications agencies, with knowledge of best practices.
  • Ability to drive transformational change and use creativity to solve challenges.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels across various regional cultures.
  • Must be able to manage competing high priority and high visibility projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, complexity and creative problem solving.
  • Cross functional team player with experience working across multiple business units to collaborate with, influence and align stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communications, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Spans globally across all business units and skill teams working in partnership, establishing and maintaining relationships to ensure alignment and consistency.
  • Day to day lead for annual compensation negotiations.
  • Oversight of data and reporting through Decideware scope of work management tool.
  • Lead and oversee the standards and guidelines of the Global Agency Services Agreement (ASA), including contract implementation and amendments.
  • Manage the agency engagement policies, including agency change requests.
  • Manage overall agency performance evaluation process, including governance of biannual evaluations, optimization, training and continuous improvement.
  • Manage overall agency scope of work process, including timelines, milestones, data reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Drive guidelines to ensure consistency in how business owners conduct scope of work development and prioritization.
  • Global contact for all ad hoc scopes of work, including administration and alignment with processes.
  • Lead administration and continuous improvement of agency management software applications.
  • Administer application of any compensation adjustments for major agencies.
  • Key point of contact for business and marketing leaders for Ariba financial management system, including purchase orders.
  • Utilize technology and data to identify areas of opportunity to drive efficiency in the agency scope and fee process.
  • Manage and/or assist in all Global agency audits, including Internal Controls Review Program, Contract Governance support, GAO Audits – business compliance, business managed IT audits, financial.
  • Manage GAMT role in independent third-party audits.
  • Responsible for on-boarding new agencies, developed the New Agency/Partner Checklist which includes all cross-functional teams to ensure a full immersion to Ford processes.
  • Support for all other agency management projects and initiatives as needed.
