This position's main focus is on the Genesis brand, with some assignments including the Hyundai brand due to operational synergy. The role involves working closely with National and Regional Management to develop, review, and publish documentation that supports business objectives and ensures timely, accurate release of all Warranty publications, including Policies & Procedures, Warranty Manual, Warranty Coverage Guides, and Owners’ Handbooks. The Manager will coordinate closely with the Genesis Group on warranty, campaign, and field activities, and maintain extensive interaction with GHQ personnel and Warranty teams regarding policy matters, system edits, and procedures. This role also manages all Warranty System–related projects with Hyundai AutoEver America (HAEA) and coordinates cross-department system initiatives to ensure the AS400, WebDCS, and Global Warranty System align with Warranty Policies and Procedures. The Manager will recommend and implement policy and procedure changes based on the current Warranty environment, analyze critical data to provide recommendations that mitigate revenue loss, and manage system updates, modifications, and new program implementations driven by policy changes, new technologies, and new model or equipment launches. Additionally, the role involves researching and resolving system claim errors in collaboration with HAEA personnel and managing Warranty at Retail programs, including communication with Regions and Retailers and oversight of Labor and Parts requests to ensure legal compliance with state regulations.
