About The Position

As Fun & Entertainment Manager, you are responsible for the entire entertainment program and the management of the sports and entertainment team. You ensure that our guests have an unforgettable experience by organizing and initiating various activities, from sports events to creative programs. You ensure the motivation and management of the team, and contribute to the optimal guest experience by increasing the quality of service. In this role, you are the driving force behind the daily activities of the sports and entertainment team. You ensure operational efficiency and know how to motivate your team to always deliver the best service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable management role within entertainment or hospitality.
  • MBO work and thinking level.
  • Good command of the local language and communicative in the most common guest languages (German/English).
  • Knowledge and experience with automated systems.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Experience with financial administration and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

  • The complete entertainment program and the management of the sports and animation team in the park.
  • Managing employees within your area of responsibility and stepping in yourself when necessary.
  • Motivating and guiding employees to deliver the desired quality of service and thus contribute to an optimal guest experience in the park.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and solving operational bottlenecks and points for improvement.
  • Improving service quality by evaluating current processes and procedures and making proposals for optimization.
  • Evaluating departmental results and discussing improvement proposals with the General Manager.
  • Handling financial administration.
  • Handling complaints and reporting (structural) bottlenecks to management.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
