About The Position

The Manager, Fragrance & Beauty Distribution & Fulfillment leads the efficient and accurate execution of daily distribution and fulfillment operations. The role supports warehouse activities, inventory management, and order processing across wholesale, owned retail, and e-commerce channels, ensuring operational performance meets CHANEL’s service and quality standards. The manager drives operational excellence through team leadership, performance monitoring, and continuous process improvement, while partnering with internal teams and external partners to support business priorities, resolve operational challenges, and provide a seamless fulfillment experience. This is a five-day-per-week in-person role at the designated location/office. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferably Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Finance, and five to seven years of distribution experience. Experience in fashion and fragrance and beauty is a plus. The position offers an anticipated base salary range of $72,300 to $107,800, with variable pay and other components that may include bonus potential, benefits, and perks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Finance preferred.
Five to seven years of experience in distribution.
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume operation while adhering to strict daily SLAs.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner across departments and coordinate operational priorities.
Ability to assess operational challenges, analyze information, make timely informed decisions, and know when to escalate critical issues.
Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot material handling automation.
Demonstrated ability to manage working relationships with technical and business professionals.
High proficiency with computer systems and software applications.
Previous experience with WMS Active, WES, Pick to Light, and ERP systems.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the fashion and fragrance and beauty industry.
Experience with SAP, Manhattan Active, and Dematic.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily distribution and fulfillment activities, including receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring accurate and timely order processing across all channels.
Monitor operational performance indicators, including order accuracy, productivity, service levels, and inventory accuracy; identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
Supervise, coach, and develop operational team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse processes, improve productivity, reduce operational costs, and enhance fulfillment efficiency.
Support development and execution of labor plans based on business volume, seasonality, promotional activities, and operational requirements.
Support inventory control processes, investigate discrepancies, and partner with relevant teams to maintain inventory accuracy and product availability.
Identify and resolve day-to-day operational challenges, escalating risks when appropriate to minimize service disruptions.
Ensure warehouse activities adhere to safety, quality, security, and operational procedures and CHANEL standards.
Support new product launches, seasonal peaks, and changing business requirements.
