About The Position

The Manager, Fragrance & Beauty Distribution & Fulfillment ensures efficient and accurate daily distribution and fulfillment operations. The role supports warehouse activities, inventory management, and order processing across wholesale, owned retail, and e-commerce channels, aligning operational performance with CHANEL’s service and quality standards.

The manager drives operational excellence through team leadership, performance monitoring, and continuous process improvement. They collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support business priorities, resolve operational challenges, and deliver a seamless fulfillment experience in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Five to seven years of experience in distribution.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume operation adhering to strict daily SLAs.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to partner across departments and coordinate operational priorities.
• Ability to assess operational challenges, analyze information, make timely informed decisions, and escalate critical issues when appropriate.
• Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot material handling automation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage working relationships with technical and business professionals.
• High proficiency with computer systems and software applications.

Nice To Haves

• Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Finance degree preferred.
• Fashion and fragrance & beauty industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with WMS Active, WES, Pick to Light, and ERP systems; SAP, Manhattan Active, and Dematic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily distribution and fulfillment activities, including receiving, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring accurate and timely order processing across all channels.
• Monitor operational performance indicators such as order accuracy, productivity, service levels, and inventory accuracy; identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise, coach, and develop operational team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to streamline warehouse processes, improve productivity, reduce operational costs, and enhance fulfillment efficiency.
• Support the development and execution of labor plans based on business volume, seasonality, promotional activities, and operational requirements.
• Support inventory control, investigate discrepancies, and partner with relevant teams to maintain inventory accuracy and product availability.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day operational challenges, escalating risks when appropriate to minimize service disruptions.
• Ensure warehouse activities follow established safety, quality, security, and operational procedures and CHANEL standards.
