Practice Management/US Oncology FP&A is responsible for the planning, forecasting, and reporting for >2,000 Oncology providers across the country and driving insightful analytics to support future growth in Oncology. McKesson is seeking a Finance Manager to support the growth of Practice Management. The Sr. Finance Manager will be responsible for enhancing analytical capabilities within Practice Management/US Oncology and partner closely with the VP Finance Operations to develop insightful intelligence and reporting, highlighting areas of strong performance and problem areas, and work with appropriate stakeholders to drive solutions. This role will perform various analytics across all Practice Management business segments and product lines, with a heavy focus on delivering actionable insights. In addition, this individual will develop and improve upon existing KPI’s and will lead the enhancement and automation of reporting across the segment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or transformation roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including effective PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-directed
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Must have strong quantitative and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred
  • Experience in healthcare finance preferred, especially physician practice or specialty care integration.
  • experience with ERP and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Hyperion, Power BI) is a plus.
  • M.B.A/CPA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support complex, high-impact financial analyses and cross-functional initiatives in support of Practice Management practices.
  • Partner directly with senior leadership to evaluate strategic opportunities, diagnose performance issues, and inform critical business decisions.
  • Drive structured problem-solving across a wide range of topics, including: Standard Monthly Financial Analytics & Business Insight: Deliver ongoing financial and operational analysis across Practice Management, focusing on key performance drivers such as volume, margin, discounts, and operating expenses. Provide insights to support performance improvement and decision-making.
  • Partner with Finance leadership and stakeholders to highlight risks and opportunities, develop solutions, and support execution of strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Support PM Finance operations with quarterly and annual presentations for new Practice investments for O&M leadership
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and support key strategic initiatives across Practice Management.
  • Provide decision support for cross-functional projects and emerging priorities
  • Support enhancement and automation of reporting processes and tools.
  • Participate in system improvements and represent Finance in Agile IT initiatives to improve scalability and efficiency.
