About The Position

As a Manager, Financial Analyst in the Financial Services division, you will work for a forward leaning organization that is actively disrupting the Auto finance industry through innovation and a customer-centric approach. You will have the opportunity to partner with business customers on driving strategic business direction that leads to sustainable performance and you will be asked to challenge our current well-managed processes to be more proactive, effective and efficient. Financial Analysts utilize a wide array of tools and data to perform analysis to identify drivers and trends that impact the near and long term trajectory of our division. Associates have the resources and space to drive significant change across the team and organization. This role requires strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills in order to effectively: Establish trusted business partner relationships as the finance partner for the Auto Finance CTO Partner with Finance and business teams to assess the financial implications of ongoing and proposed new initiatives to optimize business performance Ownership of budget and forecast accuracy for areas of responsibility Leverage sound business judgment to evaluate analytical results and formulate recommendations Accurately analyze & explain key cost drivers and annual financial trajectory Provide strategic insights and suggest actions to business and finance partners Develop presentations to senior audiences to communicate insights and to influence both business and financial outcomes Mentor and develop junior analysts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial analysis & modeling, business analytics, consulting, or a combination
  • At least 1 year of experience managing a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative major (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering) or military experience
  • Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Certified Treasury Professional or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or CFM
  • At least 8 years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience using SQL, Python, or a combination
  • At least 5 years experience in financial services, banking or technology industries
  • At least 3 years experience partnering with senior leaders and internal stakeholders

Responsibilities
