This role manages the day-to-day operations of a function focused on implementing and growing the “Building Professional Networks” initiative to support student success. The position involves managing the functionality, adoption strategy, and user experience of the Gator Network platform in collaboration with the UF Alumni Association and Student Government to foster engagement among students, alumni, and campus partners. It also includes overseeing the recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of university community network members (faculty, staff, alumni, mentors, peer mentors, and employers) to support professional conversations and development. The role requires monitoring engagement analytics and user behavior to refine workflows and adoption strategies, as well as managing vendor relationships for assigned technologies, ensuring system updates and adherence to best practices. The Manager serves as a supervisor for direct and indirect functions. Additionally, the position acts as a point of contact for faculty and staff to support initiatives related to student success, departmental goals, experiential learning, professional development, and post-graduation outcomes, which includes outreach, presentations, workshops, and office hours. The role involves creating internal resources and delivering training to help faculty and staff integrate initiatives into their programs. Building relationships across departments to advance the university's mission and maintaining communication with partners are key. The Manager will establish internal best practices, support staff, and recommend system enhancements based on data and feedback. The position also provides individual and group career coaching to students and alumni, facilitates career education workshops and presentations, and engages with campus partners to promote student success and professional development. Data tracking and reporting on job functions and engagement responsibilities are crucial for demonstrating impact. The role requires staying updated on career development trends and best practices, performing administrative duties, attending meetings, and embodying unit and institutional values.
