The Manager, Financial Systems & Projects role will oversee and drive strategic initiatives and projects typically relating to implementation, integration, and automation of centralized accounting processes and financial systems. Additionally, this role will function as a corporate financial systems specialist, responsible for financial systems operations, project analysis and communication to ensure Gallagher’s general ledger functions are completed in a timely and controlled manner in accordance with US GAAP. The role will entail assessing existing processes and procedures to identify the optimal course of action, implementing controls and efficiencies, contributing to the development, re-engineering, and streamlining of accounting processes for a cohesive business model, as well as planning, monitoring, and managing internal projects from start to finish—tracking and following up on related action items to ensure they are completed on time. As a Project Manager, this resource will play a critical role in planning, executing, and delivering projects that align with the company's vision, goals, and business objectives. The ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and manage diverse projects will be essential to success in this role.
