Requirements

Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting or equivalent
Designated Canadian CPA with minimum 3 years post qualification experience
Strong interest to enroll in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional Qualification Program
Experience on large, complex restructuring engagements
Experience developing and working with cash flow models
Advanced business modelling skills and experience required
Proven capabilities in problem solving, situational analysis, creativity, negotiation and decision making
High level of technical competence in conducting financial analysis
Ability to prepare high quality written communication
Comprehensive understanding of financial statement analysis
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel as required
Highly motivated, analytical, logical thinkers with a passion for Restructuring Services and have a very strong attention to detail.
Being a strong team player is critical with the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines in support of our clients goals

Responsibilities

As a Director (Manager), you will be part of the restructuring team helping our clients evaluate capital options, capture greater transaction value and achieve strategic objectives - whether they are buying or selling a distressed asset, restructuring a business, dealing with underperformance, or looking to improve cash management.
You will assist in the planning and execution of engagements including performing in-depth analysis of a debtor's financial situation and identifying strategies for dealing with various issues.
Assist in aspects of pursuits and proposal development.
Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work.
Learn and develop technical and personal skills to support achievement of career goals, through a blend of structured learning, coaching and experiences.
Cultivate strong working relationships with clients and support to key decision makers.
