About The Position

The Manager of Finance Integration owns the finance and accounting workstream across Orion’s acquisitions, from late-stage diligence through the first close cycles under Orion’s ownership. The role is part of the Corporate Controllership team and reports to the VP, Corporate Controller. Before closing, the manager supports the deal team by pressure-testing quality of earnings and assessing accounting, tax, legal, and back-office exposure. After closing, the manager works with the acquired company’s finance team to establish the opening balance sheet, transition accounting processes and systems, and prepare the company for audit. This is a hands-on, builder-focused role that creates and implements finance integration frameworks and playbooks for reuse across acquisitions. The manager partners with Group VPs of Finance, the M&A Integrations Manager, the deal team, Systems, and operating company leadership, and is expected to be physically present at newly acquired companies. The role involves handling multiple deals at different stages in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and traveling 50% or more to operating companies. It is based in New York, New York, with remote candidates considered for the right fit. Compensation is determined based on experience, qualifications, and organizational needs.
