About The Position

Responsible for overseeing the physical installation and repair of the company’s products and services to meet the company’s business objectives, create customer loyalty, grow revenue and manage costs within their assigned area. Manages functions include creating processes and procedures, workflows, CSAT, employee management, budget management, inventory management, vendor management, contract negotiations, and training programs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5-8+ years of relevant work experience to include:
  • Contract Management
  • Contract negotiations
  • Supervisory and Management experience in Telecom, Inmate Systems or I.T. installation, repair and maintenance of technical products.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of installations based on industry standards
  • Relevant work experience in related industry
  • Strong knowledge of Field Operations, inventory management, remote resource management, RFP’s, installation, repair, maintenance, vendor management, contract negotiations and customer satisfaction
  • Strong analytical, organizational, planning, interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
  • Financial acumen with ability to manage departmental budgets
  • Able to drive metrics to improve performance
  • Leader with strong organizational and interpersonal skills in a managerial role
  • Business acumen with the ability to balance customer requirements with business objectives
  • Computing and Business Tool experience (Word, Excel, Power point, Etc.)
  • Ability to travel throughout the United States as needed
  • Strong Operational experience – Structured, process oriented, and data driven
  • Strong time management skills

  • Strong verbal skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of Supervisory and Management experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance to corporate and industry standards, and assure top operational capability, performance and efficiency.
  • Overall responsible for the physical installation of Securus products.
  • Responsible for driving performance objectives, as well as, the leading Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to ensure department and company success metrics, Site Survey, Move Add Change and Installation Completion.
  • Ensure company goals for customer satisfaction (CSAT) are met through continuous improvement based on feedback from Installation surveys.
  • Manage and lead a team of Field Service Installers, Field Service Specialists and Electricians.
  • Sources and works with vendors to complete installations that require resources above what the Field Service Installers can provide.
  • Negotiate and manage third party contracts as required to meet business needs.
  • Develop SOW (Scopes of Work) to ensure Installers and vendors complete installations based on companies and industry standards as well as customer requirements.
  • Develop, implement and adhere to installation standards.
  • Ability to read and determine installation requirements based on blueprints and or as-built drawings.
  • Schedules projects to ensure resources are allotted for each ongoing project to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Manage capacity planning to ensure maximum efficiency from each function, while prioritizing and managing resource allocation based on changing business priorities and budget constraints.
  • Plan and coordinate with Field Service Managers on all installation projects.
  • Manage expense, capital and headcount budgets with an annual operating budget, while analyzing ways to reduce operating costs.
  • Recruiting, selecting, orienting, training new hires.
  • Planning, coordinating and managing daily activities.
  • Training, performance monitoring, analyzing and general administrative duties.
  • Conduct team and customer meetings as required.
  • Provide counseling and disciplinary actions as required.
  • Responsible for direct associates made up of Field Service Installers, Field Service Specialists and Electricians.
  • Regional Asset management (Truck Inventory, Company vehicles, Tools, Laptop’s, Etc.). Conducting quarterly inventory counts.
  • Preparing reports, communications and presentations to Regional Manager.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
