We are currently looking for an ERP and Applications Manager to join our team in our Columbus, Ohio office. Position Summary: The ERP and Applications Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of the company’s enterprise systems, with a primary focus on SAP S/4HANA ERP and the broader enterprise application landscape. This role will play a critical part in supporting and optimizing core ERP business processes across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Commercial operations, while also ensuring other enterprise applications effectively enable business performance. A key responsibility of this role will be supporting and guiding ERP transformation initiatives, including system improvements, integrations, and future digital transformation programs involving SAP S/4HANA. In addition to ERP leadership, the role will oversee key application capabilities including data, analytics, and AI initiatives, working closely with the Data & Analytics function to ensure enterprise systems enable better insights, automation, and decision-making across the organization. This role will manage internal resources and external partners to ensure enterprise platforms are stable, scalable, and aligned with business priorities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related field required.
8+ years of experience managing enterprise applications or ERP platforms
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar enterprise ERP systems
Proven experience supporting or leading ERP implementation or transformation programs
Experience working across ERP modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, or Sales
Experience working with external system integrators or implementation partners
Strong knowledge of ERP business processes and SAP S/4HANA architecture
Experience with enterprise system integrations, data management, and reporting platforms

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree or MBA preferred
Experience managing enterprise application portfolios beyond ERP is strongly preferred
Experience supporting data, analytics, or AI-enabled initiatives is preferred
Familiarity with AI-enabled business applications, automation tools, and analytics platforms preferred

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary IT leader responsible for the SAP S/4HANA ERP platform and related business processes.
Support and lead ERP transformation initiatives, including system enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and process optimization.
Ensure the ERP platform effectively supports business functions including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Commercial operations.
Partner with business leaders to translate operational requirements into scalable ERP solutions.
Manage ERP-related projects across the full lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Collaborate with implementation partners and system integrators to deliver successful ERP initiatives.
Oversee the management, performance, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications supporting the organization.
Maintain an enterprise applications roadmap aligned with business priorities and digital transformation initiatives.
Ensure applications integrate effectively with SAP and other enterprise systems.
Establish and maintain best practices around application lifecycle management, system upgrades, and change management.
Provide leadership and support for data, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities across enterprise applications.
Partner with the Data & Analytics team to ensure enterprise platforms support advanced analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision making.
Support initiatives that leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
Ensure ERP and enterprise applications support strong data governance, data integrity, and reporting capabilities.
Act as a key liaison between IT and business functions to ensure systems support operational and strategic objectives.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes through system enhancements, automation, and digital tools.
Communicate technical solutions in a clear, business-focused manner to stakeholders.
Lead and develop application resources responsible for ERP, enterprise applications, and data/analytics support.
Provide guidance, coaching, and oversight to team members, including those focused on data and analytics initiatives.
Foster strong collaboration across IT, business functions, and external partners.
Manage relationships with technology vendors, system integrators, and implementation partners.
Oversee vendor performance, contracts, and service delivery to ensure strong outcomes for ERP and application initiatives.
