About The Position

This role is for a Manager, Engineering at our office in Frankfort, KY. The position involves leading a team of process engineers, technicians, and support staff to drive operational excellence through process improvement strategies, new equipment implementation, and collaboration across departments. The manager will be responsible for ensuring manufacturability, maintaining documentation, and managing capital projects while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related
1 year of experience in job offered or related
1 year of experience includes knowledge of EPT sealers, double-sided tape, and SPV Films

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of process engineers, technicians, and support staff.
Develop and implement process improvement strategies to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality.
Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new manufacturing equipment and tooling.
Collaborate with product design, quality, supply chain, and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
Establish and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Use lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
Manage capital equipment projects and budgets, including cost justification and ROI analysis.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in all manufacturing processes.
Provide technical support and problem-solving leadership for production issues.
Support training and development programs to enhance team capabilities.
