About The Position

We're looking for a highly skilled hospital facilities leader to oversee critical infrastructure operations at Yakima Memorial Hospital. This role is ideal for candidates with strong healthcare experience who thrive in a mission-driven environment where safety, reliability, and regulatory excellence are top priorities. The Manager of Engineering Services is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all activities of the Construction/Trades division, Operating Engineers, HVAC Technicians, Maintenance Mechanics, and Engineering Technicians to ensure the assigned facilities are furnished with uninterrupted utility services, general maintenance of buildings (interior and exterior), preventive maintenance of buildings, equipment, and mechanical and electrical systems. The Manager provides direct and indirect supervision of staff in assigned area; collaborates with the Manager, Systems Sustainability and Safety and individual Subject Matter Experts to develop short- and long-term plans and to ensure the assigned areas meet all Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or ability to obtain in three (3) years
  • Experience in all trades
  • Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity
  • Five (5) years facilities experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineering license in mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred)
