About The Position

Servtech, A Roeslein Company, is seeking an Electrical Manager to lead our electrical team in our manufacturing facilities for the energy, mining, industrial power markets, and Integrated bio-energy solutions. This leader must have the desire to perform quality work in a safe manner, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years in a supervisory role in the industrial electrical field is required.
  • 5 plus years of experience as an Electrician is required
  • An associate degree or electrical journeyman certificate or related field is required.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, line and schematic drawings, and ladder logic is required.
  • High Voltage AC and Low Voltage DC experience is required.
  • Knowledge of the National Electric Code is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license as well as a good vehicle record is required.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
  • Experience with hand-held tools and assembling parts.
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Interviewing, selecting, and training all new employees to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to perform their duties to the standard of the organization.
  • Developing the team and providing feedback for annual performance evaluations.
  • Performing all work in compliance with company standards, not deviating from policies and procedures, and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Identifying all safety situations and reporting issues timely.
  • Reviewing drawings for project requirements and resources required.
  • Completing inspections at various stages of production to ensure customer specifications are being met, and company quality standards are followed.
  • Creating a process checklist and coordinating quality inspections with the quality department.
  • Advising and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WI’s) for consistency.
  • Planning and directing the work of employees.
  • Safely operating and passing forklift certification.
  • Assessing production progress and reporting percentage completion for scheduling and tracking purposes.
  • Providing leadership, training, and assistance to employees with mounting, wiring, and installing electrical systems on various products according to project drawings, requirements, and customer specifications while ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Interpreting data from electrical diagrams and schematics and completing wiring of electrical systems.
  • Cutting, bending, and installing conduit per electrical specifications.
  • Connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
  • Inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with electrical codes.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
