Requirements

Associates degree and 2 years related experience working with youth, 2 of which should be in a supervisory capacity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required
Valid Utah driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Directly supervises senior residential advisors, and residential advisors.
Responsible for the management of assigned residential living dorms, which include a safe and homelike atmosphere, dormitory and maintenance, social skills, dorm culture, and student leadership.
Plan, coordinate and manage the administrative and programmatic activities of assigned dorms.
Review and approve all budgetary expenditures for assigned dorms; provide property control and facilities management for assigned dorms; manage dorm incentive program for assigned dorms.
Provide staff training, evaluate staff performance, administer staff discipline, and implement departmental changes as approved by the director, social development & student services.
Assist in the development and implementation of new and revised policies, procedures, and programs affecting residential living; participate in on-going residential living self-assessments.
