About The Position

The Domestic Trade Solutions Manager is responsible for overseeing daily truck brokerage and domestic freight forwarding operations. This role ensures freight is transported safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively while maintaining high service standards and customer satisfaction. The manager monitors, reports, and improves carrier coordination to deliver timely and economical solutions.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic truck brokerage.
Minimum 2 years of experience in LTL and airfreight forwarding.
Proven leadership skills to guide and motivate team members in brokerage operations.
Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment.
Ability to follow policies and procedures.
Ability to read, write, and interpret information.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
Ability to sit, walk, or stand for the duration of the shift.
Must possess visual acuity to perform essential job functions.
Ability to conduct physical tasks with a full range of motion throughout the warehouse environment.
Ability to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Manage the full cycle of freight brokerage operations, including rate negotiation and shipment coordination.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and customers to ensure service excellence.
Support airfreight and less-than-truckload (LTL) product offerings.
Provide timely and accurate updates to customers and carriers regarding shipment status, delays, and issues.
Maintain accurate records of all transactions and operational activities.
Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance service delivery.
Perform other duties as assigned.
