About The Position

De Soi is a line of non-alcoholic beverages made with natural botanicals, adaptogens, and a serious commitment to flavor. Co-founded in 2022 by Katy Perry and award-winning Master Distiller Morgan McLachlan, we’re building the brand redefining how people unwind — luxurious, romantic, a little witty, and proudly booze-free. We’re in a high-growth phase: scaling DTC, expanding our retail footprint, and launching new products that push the category forward. It’s a moment where the work is real, the brand is loved, and what you build will actually move the business. We’re looking for a Manager, Digital Marketing & Ecommerce to own our end-to-end digital commerce business — Shopify Plus, subscriptions, lifecycle marketing, paid media oversight, Amazon, and customer experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves the full DTC stack: equally comfortable in a Shopify back-end, a Klaviyo flow builder, dashboards, and AB testing quickly. You’ll partner closely with our VP of Marketing, lead a customer service contractor, and manage a roster of agency partners across paid media, email/SMS, Amazon, and SEO. You’ll be the connective tissue between brand and performance — making sure every digital touchpoint feels unmistakably De Soi while driving real revenue, retention, and efficiency. Requirements

  • 6+ years in DTC ecommerce / digital marketing, ideally for a product-based consumer brand (CPG, beverage, beauty, or wellness is a plus).
  • Hands-on Shopify Plus experience — you know the back-end, the apps, and the levers that actually move conversion.
  • Deep Klaviyo expertise across flows, campaigns, and segmentation; comfortable being the strategist and the QA.
  • Direct experience managing or running an Amazon (FBA) business — listings, ads, reviews, and channel performance.
  • Comfortable managing agencies — you know how to set goals, push for output, and get great work from your partners.
  • Analytically fluent: you live in dashboards, but you can also tell a clean story with the numbers.
  • A strong eye for brand. You won’t ship anything that doesn’t feel like De Soi.
  • Self-directed, organized, and energized by a high-growth environment where the role evolves alongside the business.

  • Experience owning or scaling a subscription program (Skio, Recharge, or similar) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full Shopify Plus ecosystem — site strategy, UX, merchandising, and performance across PDPs, PLPs, homepage, cart, and checkout.
  • Drive core ecommerce KPIs including conversion rate, AOV, and LTV through CRO, A/B testing, and ongoing UX improvements.
  • Build and optimize upsell, cross-sell, and bundling strategies, and execute site updates for launches, promotions, and brand moments.
  • Manage on-site tools and integrations (Rebuy, Shoplift, Microsoft Clarity, Onward, Alia).
  • Own the end-to-end subscription program on Skio — platform, UX, acquisition, retention, and LTV.
  • Build subscriber lifecycle programs, perks, and milestone moments that keep our community coming back.
  • Develop and execute strategies to reduce churn and grow recurring revenue as a core pillar of the business.
  • Own lifecycle strategy across Klaviyo — segmentation, flows, campaign calendar, and execution.
  • Manage our external email/SMS agency and align messaging with broader brand campaigns and product launches.
  • Continuously optimize for retention, repeat purchase, and incremental revenue.
  • Manage our performance marketing agency and overall paid media strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok, and Snapchat.
  • Oversee creative testing, landing page experience (Fermat), and funnel alignment from ad to checkout.
  • Optimize for CAC efficiency and downstream LTV; partner with Finance on budget pacing and forecasting.
  • Own Amazon (FBA) channel performance — inventory, listings, content, ads, reviews, and overall channel health.
  • Manage our Amazon agency and FeedbackWhiz; drive revenue growth while maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Lead brand protection efforts, including identifying and removing unauthorized 3P sellers in partnership with external counsel.
  • Lead SEO strategy and execution in partnership with our external consultant — technical, on-page, and content.
  • Optimize site content and structure for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to ensure visibility across AI-driven discovery platforms.
  • Stay ahead of evolving search behavior and identify opportunities to grow organic and AI-driven traffic.
  • Oversee our outsourced customer service contractor and the Gorgias support function.
  • Develop SOPs, macros, and communication standards that feel as elevated as the brand itself.
  • Use customer feedback as a strategic input for site, product, and lifecycle improvements.
  • Own DTC analytics across ecommerce, subscriptions, lifecycle, and paid — using tools like GA, Triple Whale, Peel, and Lifetimely.
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards; develop monthly and quarterly executive reporting.
  • Partner with Finance on forecasting and LTV/CAC modeling, and with Brand, Creative, Product, Ops, and Sales on launches and campaigns.
