About The Position

The Manager Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic is responsible for the leadership, development, operation, and management of an American Diabetes Association (ADA)–certified diabetes program. Provides strategic direction and cross-functional leadership to ensure high-quality diabetes self‑management education and support services. Oversees Endocrine Nursing staff and Diabetes Educators. Collaborates closely with providers and interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, patient- and family-centered care across all age groups and diverse backgrounds. This role functions with a high level of autonomy while partnering with healthcare professionals to drive program excellence, staff development, and continuous improvement. The position promotes evidence-based practice, research participation, patient safety, and professional growth through ongoing education and engagement in professional organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or nutrition
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership position and/or demonstrated leadership ability
  • Minimum of 3-5 years progressive leadership experience required
  • Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) and/or Advanced Diabetes Management (ADM-BC) Certificate required within 2 years from date of hire
  • Current Licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Minnesota or Registered Nurse in the State of MN required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in team development, goal and objective setting, cross functional and matrix leadership and financial management

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree preferred
  • Outpatient medical clinic experience preferred
