Requirements
- CA RN license
- BLS through the American Heart Association
- ADN or Nursing Diploma
Nice To Haves
- One year outpatient RN experience
- Diabetes education
- 1-2 years RN experience
Responsibilities
- Direct patient care including daily nurse visits for injection and CGM placements and education (approximately 40% of the role).
- Phone and in-basket management (approximately 60% of the role).
- Performing patient assessments, care tasks, and medication administration as appropriate.
- Assisting with glucose monitoring education for diabetic patients.
- Educating patients and documenting patient interactions while practicing infection control.
- Contributing to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within your own scope of practice.
