The development team leverages individual philanthropy and business partnerships to support the school's priority initiatives. The Manager, Development Operations and Donor Engagement is responsible for managing the ongoing operations of development programs and/or resource development activities, averaging $5+ million. This role coordinates and integrates operational efforts affecting fundraising, and may personally raise major gifts. The Manager liaises with other development and alumni engagement units and UBC Sauder units, manages the prospect pipeline strategy, and is responsible for planning and reporting. This position works directly with senior university administration and manages complex relationships with multi-unit stakeholders. Annual targets are set by workplan goals and objectives, including metrics and financial goals if the position has direct donor contact.
