We are looking for a talented Manager, Deal Desk to join us in spreading the power of Wiz. In this role, you will report to the Senior Manager, Deal Desk and will become a trusted leader in our Deal Desk team. You will lead our Deal Desk team that focuses on the AMER Down Market and Mid-Market Sales team. You’ll mentor the team, and support them with structuring deals, take escalations and coach negotiations while maintaining Wiz’s to high standards and represent its capabilities, qualifications and professionalism. As a Deal Desk Manager, you will play a key role in helping Wiz reach new levels of growth and scalability. LOCATION Remote US, yet we are focused on candidates located in the Eastern time zone, mostly NYC WHAT YOU’LL DO Lead and support the AMER Downmarket and Mid-Market Deal Desk team, overseeing daily operations Lead "Voice of Customer" and "Voice of Field" initiatives, translating feedback into actionable process improvement plans Escalation Management: Act as the primary point of contact for team escalations and provide leadership with visibility into high-risk or "red" deals Track and benchmark similarities and differences between sales trends, sales cycles and customer behaviors Work with Deal Desk leadership to develop new guardrails for various projects and guidelines Become a trusted advisor to the sales team and leaders, and insure the team works with sales reps to structure deals that best meet customer and Wiz’s needs and goals Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Product, and Enablement to implement process changes and best practices. Process Ownership: Own and optimize the approval matrix, automated workflows, and the official Deal Desk Playbook for Downmarket WHAT YOU’LL BRING 4+ years of professional experience in a deal desk role, or similar experience 2+ years of management experience in a deal desk role, or similar experience Comfortable with change and an ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic and collaborative environment Strong business acumen, organizational, time management skills and attention to detail Proficient with Google and Microsoft Office products Strong experience with Salesforce Ability to process a high volume of transactions with accuracy and integrity Critical thinking skills to observe, interpret, analyze, infer and explain information concisely Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail Adept at project management and cross-functional collaboration
