About The Position

The Manager, Data Analytics will lead medium and participate in large data analytics project teams, managing long-term, complex analytic projects. This role involves serving as a technical lead, determining project goals with business partners, developing contingency plans, identifying advanced analysis methodologies, and directing data analysis. The position requires presenting data insights and recommendations to key stakeholders, developing big data modeling, and translating results into business actions. Additionally, the role involves providing data-based analysis to drive investigative analytics strategy, coordinating the development of complete datasets, designing statistical models, and performing analyses using advanced software. The Manager will also develop business intelligence solutions, oversee upgrades, manage regulatory reports, ensure compliance reporting accuracy, and develop user interfaces for business users. Finally, the role involves implementing compliance reporting strategy by identifying needs, developing customized reports, providing guidance on best practices, and leading cross-functional teams for solution implementation.

Requirements

Master's degree or the equivalent in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related field; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related field plus 2 years of experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related experience.
Experience writing complex SQL queries in BigQuery to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
Experience developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau to communicate KPIs and operational metrics.
Experience performing data cleaning, aggregation, and preprocessing for analysis.
Experience automating data processing and analysis tasks using Python scripts.
Experience transforming raw data into structured formats suitable for reporting and dashboards.
Experience validating and cross-checking data across multiple reports to ensure accuracy.
Experience using advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH and pivot tables) for data analysis and reporting.
Experience generating operational reports for management decision-making.
Experience performing root cause analysis on operational issues using historical data.
Experience collaborating with operations and product teams to implement data-driven solutions.
Experience defining metrics to measure business performance and track operational effectiveness.

Designs statistical or heuristic models for applications involving multiple statistical techniques and stakeholders.

Performs analyses utilizing advanced software and techniques, and evaluates and interprets results accurately.

Ensures solution testing and validation, and oversees upgrades and release schedules for business intelligence and database products.
Manages production of scheduled regulatory reports and ensures requirements are met to support implementations.
Manages the compliance reporting database to ensure accuracy and completeness of the data.
Ensures development of system documentation and develops materials for state of the art user interfaces that enable business users to interpret trends and exceptions.
Reviews change implementation before and after production installations.
Implements compliance reporting strategy by identifying customer and operational needs and developing customized reports to reflect reporting requirements.
Provides guidance and direction on best practice reporting methods.
Develops internal reports to monitor obligations, risk mitigation plans, procedures, and long term strategy.
Identifies performance standards, measures progress, and adjusts performance accordingly to meet set standards.
Reviews and prioritizes report requests and reviews new reporting concepts and determines business impact.
Analyzes project requests, develops solutions and provides implementation recommendations.
Leads cross functional teams responsible for implementing solutions.
Communicates projects, current reports, and strategy to stakeholders.
Reviews third party or industry reporting systems and solutions for implementation options.
Works with internal teams to test and implement new reporting technology.
