Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field of study and two (2) years of experience as a Data Analyst, or related role where required experience was gained.
  • 2 years of experience in SQL, Python, or R.
  • 2 years of experience in Data visualization tools such as Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Write and maintain queries at an intermediate skill level, including table joins, sub-selects, manual business logic calculations, and case when groupings.
  • Perform and interpret the results of statistical analysis such as logistical regression to provide critical and actionable business insights.
  • Python capabilities and packages such as Pandas, to create and maintain business processes such as external data collection.
  • Implement automation techniques for recurring reporting and data enablement to ensure accuracy and ease effort.
  • Create and maintain visualizations in Power BI to provide greater off-the-shelf business intelligence and performance monitoring.
  • Create and analyze pivot tables based on data output of queries.
  • Implement intermediate-level Excel functions such as sumproducts and vlookups.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analyzing complex data sets, identifying patterns and trends, and presenting findings to inform decision making at all levels of the organization.
  • May lead a team of data analysts to develop and implement analytical frameworks to uncover insights and improve business performance.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify patterns and trends that will drive business growth.
  • Develop models and forecasts to support business planning and decision making.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership to influence strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and provide insights to inform business strategies.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy by monitoring data sources and implementing quality control processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
