Manager, Dasher & Logistics - Dasher Financial Strategy & Operations

DoorDashAustin, NY
$136,000 - $200,000Remote

About The Position

The Dasher & Logistics team supports the millions of Dashers who power DoorDash’s marketplace. We’re building the world’s leading last-mile logistics platform — and to succeed, we’ll need to disrupt ourselves along the way. The Dasher Financial team is one such disruption: we are building fintech products that best serve the needs of Dashers and gig workers like them. From instant access to earnings, to innovative bill pay and savings products, to credit-building tools, our goal is to create the financial system of record for Dashers. Today we serve 2M+ monthly active Dashers, and the business has more than doubled in the past year — and we’re still early, launching and scaling zero-to-one products that redefine how Dashers interact with their money. We are looking for a Manager, Strategy & Operations to join our Dasher Financial team. This role is about building new fintech bets from the ground up — from testing early hypotheses to scaling into category-defining businesses. As a Manager, you will operate like a GM-in-training: shaping strategy, owning execution, and ultimately building the P&L for a new fintech product line. Early projects may include leading our efforts in lending and credit , but the role will flex to whatever the highest-potential opportunities are for Dasher Financial. This is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of fintech innovation inside a scaled platform.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in high-growth environments (tech, fintech, strategy & ops, consulting, or banking).
  • A track record of taking ambiguous problems and turning them into scaled outcomes.
  • Can take a vague, undefined problem and structure it yourself — without waiting for a framework — and use data to decide what to do (comfortable with SQL/Excel).
  • Curious and entrepreneurial, and you channel that drive into smart bets and clear priorities in zero-to-one environments.
  • Can flex between high-level strategy and ground-level execution, and you take true ownership of outcomes — you make the calls and are accountable for how they turn out, not just for supporting the work.
  • Actively seek feedback and adjust quickly — you treat learning fast as a competitive advantage.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; Master’s Degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new product opportunities, size the market, and build the business case.
  • Design and run experiments to validate user demand.
  • Own day-to-day execution and work cross-functionally to take ideas from concept to launch.
  • Define success metrics and be accountable for business outcomes.
  • Scale promising products into sustainable businesses that improve Dashers’ financial health.

Benefits

  • 401(k) plan with employer matching
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • wellness benefits
  • commuter benefits match
  • paid time off
  • paid sick leave
  • medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 11 paid holidays
