About The Position

This role supports the Walmart Senior Customer Development Manager and leads customer planning, insights, and financial reporting for the Case Ready Fresh Pork team. The position develops actionable insights using Retail Link, Scintilla, syndicated data, shopper data, and industry studies to support sales strategy and execution. Key responsibilities include delivering category insights and recommendations, leading weekly reporting for internal leaders and Walmart, and partnering closely with Walmart buyers to serve as a category expert. The role owns weekly, quarterly, and annual forecasts for POS and shipments, tracks performance against projections, and supports annual operating plan assumptions. Additional responsibilities include analyzing new item launches, developing seasonal business trackers, and leading customer promotional planning. The position identifies trade efficiency and regional pricing opportunities, supports Joint Business Planning (JBP) with Walmart, and conducts market assessments to inform assortment, pricing, and merchandising strategies. This role operates in a highly matrixed environment and partners closely with Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Brand and Business Units, the Customer Team, and Walmart.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 plus years of relevant experience with: Walmart RetailLink and Scintilla, Syndicated data, POS panel data.
  • Category or Customer Management experience with Walmart and/or Sam's Club in the CPG industry.
  • High proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft office software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
