About The Position

Developing data tools, providing insights resources and creating story telling visuals in collaboration with our Kroger Sales Team. We’re seeking a skilled professional to own the Kroger reporting and analytics ecosystem by developing scalable data tools, dynamic dashboards, and advanced visualization solutions. This role will partner with Analytics, Sales, Category, Finance, and technical teams to integrate complex data sources and deliver solutions that support informed business decisions. This role requires an individual with strong agility and the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in data analytics/visualization and/or project management
Experience with data manipulation and processing, including data validation and synthesis methodology
Solid understanding of Power BI tools and recent work done on synthesizing data
Ability to read and write SQL queries strongly preferred
Strong commercial background and social skills, with the ability to understand context and apply it to drive advanced analysis
Foundational experience with Snowflake (or other SQL based tools). Experience with other data and analytics platforms are a plus
Understanding of industry data metrics related to sales, inventory, shopper/panel, and point of sale data

Responsibilities

Own the Kroger reporting and analytics ecosystem, including developing and enhancing Power BI dashboards, data tools, reporting standards, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Lead the analytics roadmap and intake process, translating ambiguous business needs into clear requirements and prioritized, scalable solutions that deliver actionable recommendations.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries in Snowflake and across large datasets to power accurate, efficient, and scalable Power BI reporting.
Establish standard operating procedures for data governance and quality, including metric definitions, data dictionaries, validation, reconciliations, refreshes, and issue resolution.
Integrate internal and external data sources to deliver scorecards, forecasts, competitive insights, and decision-oriented business recommendations. (i.e. 84.51 Stratum, Circana, Market 6 OnDemand, Snowflake, Planning Tools)
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Category, Finance, and technical teams to align priorities and connect analytics to measurable business impact.
Champion data literacy, documentation, training and analytics best practices across the Kroger Team
