About The Position

Under the direction of the Provost/VP Learner Experience, the Manager, Curriculum Delivery leads Nightingale College efforts to ensure that the standardized curriculum and assessments are delivered to learners with fidelity. This role oversees the administration and security of summative assessments and exams. This role will also be responsible for oversite of inter-rater reliability of rubric-scored assignments or assessments. The incumbent will also have responsibility to collect, analyze, and monitor course performance metrics. This role will also serve as a liaison with the Innovations and Solutions Divisions regarding the College curriculum delivery and assessment of learning. The incumbent may also participate as a member of the Academic Leadership Team.

Requirements

  • Earned master’s degree in education, instructional design, educational assessment, business, or related field.
  • At least 3 years working in curriculum development, assessment, instructional design, or related activities.
  • At least 3 years teaching experience, traditional, non-traditional, online or blended formats preferrable.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with standardized assessment, test security, online proctoring, and plagiarism detection preferred.
  • Experience working with faculty, faculty development, curriculum development, assessment development.
  • Experience with complex academic operations preferred.
  • Awareness of regulatory requirement related to distance and hybrid education.
  • Experience in health care education preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Innovations curriculum design teams to ensure that courses are ready for learners each semester.
  • Collaborate with Faculty Development, GE, and NE Directors to ensure the courses and assessments are functioning and faculty have the resources they need to effectively deliver the curriculum to learners.
  • Oversee the set up and delivery of summative assessments such as HESI exams.
  • Oversee the inter-rater reliability of rubric scored assignments and assessments.
  • Refine plagiarism detection processes, policies, and practices to improve assessment security.
  • Collaborate with faculty to ensure that activity and exam scoring is completed in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the exception, grievance, and dispositions processes as needed.
  • Gather, analyze, and share division and learner data as it informs issues related to delivery of the curriculum, administering assessments, and individual performance.
  • Primary point of contact for Innovations and vendors representing the College for exam proctoring review and issue resolution.
