About The Position

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, CQ Site Lead (WPB), located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Job Overview The Manager, CQ Site Lead (WPB) is responsible for providing on‑site Commercial Quality leadership at the West Palm Beach location. This role ensures consistent execution of quality management system (QMS) requirements, regulatory compliance, and commercial quality processes across site operations. The position has a direct impact on patient safety, regulatory readiness, and business continuity by serving as the primary quality leader for the site and partnering closely with Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Global Quality teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Life Sciences, Regulatory Affairs, or a related discipline (required).
  • Typically 6-8 years of progressive experience in Quality, Regulatory, Compliance, or related roles within a regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with Quality Management Systems and commercial quality processes.
  • Experience supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and quality requirements impacting commercial operations.
  • Proven ability to lead site‑level quality execution and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • English required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or MBA (preferred).
  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience in a site‑based quality leadership role.
  • Exposure to post‑market or distribution‑related quality activities.
  • Experience working in a global or matrixed organization.
  • Quality or Regulatory certifications (e.g., ASQ, RAC).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Quality or Regulatory certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Commercial Quality site lead for the West Palm Beach location, ensuring compliance with QMS and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and oversee execution of commercial quality processes at the site, including post‑market and distribution‑related activities.
  • Act as the main quality point of contact for site leadership, commercial teams, and cross‑functional partners.
  • Support and ensure readiness for internal audits, external audits, and health authority inspections.
  • Monitor site‑level quality metrics, trends, and risks; drive corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Operations to support compliant product distribution and lifecycle activities.
  • Ensure local implementation and adherence to global quality policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality culture, compliance, and operational effectiveness at the site.
