About The Position

Lifemark has facilities in nine provinces providing integrated health, employer services, medical assessments, and rehabilitation services across Canada. Lifemark employs over 5,000 clinical practitioners and client service support staff. With a commitment to excellence in clinical quality and client experience, we are embarking on an ambitious growth journey to expand our footprint and services across Canada. To achieve this vision, we are seeking an experienced Senior Associate of Corporate Development who will work closely with our Senior Director of Corporate Development to support and drive our aggressive mergers and acquisitions (M&A) strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Proven track record of successful M&A transactions in the healthcare or related industry.
  • Strong financial acumen with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • 4+ years experience within a Corporate Development, Investment Banking or Private Equity role
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA, CFA or CBV designation is an asset.
  • Bilingual (English & French) is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support acquisition opportunities from initial evaluation through closing
  • Analyze acquisition targets including financial performance, operational metrics, market positioning, and strategic fit
  • Coordinate cross-functional diligence processes across operations, finance, legal, HR, IT, and external advisors
  • Drive transaction timelines and proactively remove execution barriers to ensure efficient deal progression
  • Participate in transaction structuring, negotiation strategy, and value creation planning
  • Support preparation of Investment Committee materials, valuation analyses, due diligence summaries, and executive presentations
  • Assist in the negotiation and review of LOIs, purchase agreements, and key commercial terms
  • Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, advisors, and internal stakeholders throughout the transaction lifecycle
  • Help deliver a seamless and professional seller experience during diligence and closing processes
  • Develop and review financial models, valuation analyses, forecasts, and acquisition scenarios
  • Evaluate operational synergies, growth opportunities, and strategic rationale for acquisitions
  • Conduct industry, competitive, and market research to support investment decisions
  • Assess key transaction risks and mitigation strategies in collaboration with internal teams and advisors
  • Support broader corporate development and strategic growth initiatives across the organization
  • Contribute to pipeline management, acquisition tracking, and market mapping activities
  • Assist in refining internal M&A processes, reporting tools, and execution frameworks
