The primary focus of this role is to provide commercial and contractual support services across all of DXC’s industries. This includes advising on technology and outsourcing deals in accordance with company policies, applicable laws, and customer requirements. The role involves contract drafting, review, analysis, and guidance on contract interpretation, with an emphasis on understanding key risks and obligations to leverage contracts for maximum advantage, including profit/margin optimization. Responsibilities include managing contract changes, deliverables, correspondence, and risks, while maintaining documentation and reporting to account leads and leadership. The role also utilizes digital tools for tracking, reporting, and informing management about the status and risk profile of deals against DXC’s contracting rules. It requires working with internal and external customers, conducting contract risk assessments, and problem-solving using strong interpersonal skills. Embracing innovative contract and legal delivery services solutions, including the use of technology and process to improve effectiveness and efficiency, is also a key aspect. Federal contracting experience is not required but would be a plus.
