About The Position

Snap Inc. is a technology company focused on improving communication through its camera-centric products like Snapchat, Lens Studio, and Spectacles. The Creative & Marketing team is responsible for building Snap's brand and marketing initiatives. They are seeking a Manager of Consumer Marketing to lead global product marketing communications for both business and consumer audiences. This role is crucial for driving understanding, consideration, and adoption of Snapchat and its advertising solutions. The Manager will act as a cross-functional liaison between Product Marketing, Communications, Events, Sales, and Partnerships to bring Snap's brand and product positioning to life through compelling narratives, audience-first programs, and global campaigns. This position reports to the Senior Manager of Consumer Marketing and significantly influences Global Business and Consumer Product Marketing Strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, including 1+ years of manager experience.
  • Experience building programs that resonate with business and consumer audiences, especially within Social Media and Technology.
  • Experience leading lifestyle and culture-driven activations, with a strong understanding of building marketing programs around emerging trends, real-time cultural moments, and the behaviors of next-generation consumers.
  • Proven strategic leader with the ability to anticipate challenges, synthesize complex inputs, and drive clear, high-impact decisions across functions and geographies.
  • Deep passion for marketing and a forward-looking perspective on marketing technology.
  • Deep proficiency in storytelling, with experience translating insights, product information, and data into client-facing marketing presentations.
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance, and to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability and experience thinking creatively, communicating and presenting to large groups, and a deep proficiency in brand building.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute Snap’s product and brand marketing strategy, positioning, and programs that communicate Snap’s value proposition for consumers and businesses.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Snap's audience personas, mindsets, attitudes, values, and behaviors.
  • Develop highly creative, innovative consideration campaigns, narratives, success stories, thought leadership, and industry partnerships across audiences.
  • Craft value propositions and messaging frameworks fueled by audience insights to capture new customers and sustain existing relationships.
  • Collaborate deeply with Product Marketing, Sales, Comms, Insights, Partnerships, and Regional teams to ensure messaging, storytelling, and product positioning resonate with the audience.
  • Develop playbooks, toolkits, and frameworks to standardize global marketing efforts.
  • Define success metrics, measure campaign performance, and continuously iterate based on insights.
  • Stay ahead of advertising trends, platforms, and community behaviors to identify new opportunities for cultural relevance and differentiation.
  • Guide creative production of campaigns, printed collateral, presentations, websites, videos, and other marketing materials.
