About The Position

This position will be a key member of the American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) Line of Business Compliance Team, primarily supporting Small Business Card products. The successful candidate will provide second line of defense compliance oversight for this core area of the GCS business. The compliance efforts for this position will oversee and identify compliance risks related to new/modified U.S. Small Business products, benefits, and reward programs through effective oversight and challenge of product design proposals, marketing approaches and assets (claims/disclosures/guidelines), customer communications, digital experiences, and product servicing processes. This position will also be an integral part in performing second line effective challenge of Risk & Control Self-Assessments and deliverables related to Compliance Program requirements including periodic Compliance Risk Assessment, Regulatory Change Management, and Issue Management.

Requirements

  • Second line of defense compliance oversight experience.
  • Experience supporting Small Business Card products.
  • Experience identifying compliance risks related to new/modified products, benefits, and reward programs.
  • Experience with product design proposals, marketing approaches and assets (claims/disclosures/guidelines), customer communications, digital experiences, and product servicing processes.
  • Experience performing effective challenge of Risk & Control Self-Assessments.
  • Experience with Compliance Program requirements including periodic Compliance Risk Assessment, Regulatory Change Management, and Issue Management.
