About The Position

The Manager, Compensation & HRIS is responsible for leading and evolving the organization’s compensation programs, HR technology ecosystem, and people analytics capabilities as an integrated strategic function. This role exists to ensure Cirque operates with scalable, data-driven, and business-aligned people practices by bridging compensation expertise, technology capabilities, operational rigor, and actionable workforce insights. The Manager translates business and HR priorities into sustainable programs, technology solutions, governance standards, and analytical capabilities that improve decision-making, employee experience, operational efficiency, and organizational effectiveness. This role leads a multidisciplinary team across Compensation and HR Systems and acts as a critical partner to HR leadership, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience across Compensation and HR Systems or related HR functions.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong expertise in compensation programs, including sales/commission plans and large-scale project management.
  • Experience in Executive compensation management, including long-term incentive plans.
  • Experience working with enterprise HR systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to combine strategic thinking with operational execution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in French and English is imperative.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or comparable HRIS platforms.
  • Experience in complex, operational, or global organizations.
  • Exposure to HR transformation, systems implementation, or organizational integration initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead competitive and scalable compensation programs aligned with the organization’s compensation philosophy.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across HR systems and processes.
  • Advance workforce analytics and reporting capabilities to support business decision-making.
  • Ensure HR data integrity, system optimization, and scalable people operations.
  • Continue to modernize HR processes through automation, digital enablement, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and analytical thinking.
  • Lead core compensation programs and processes including annual salary reviews, incentive administration, benchmarking, and compensation analysis.
  • Lead communication and education related to compensation programs and practices.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders on compensation decisions, workforce planning, and organizational needs.
  • Partner with business leaders to support organizational growth and new business initiatives through the development of scalable compensation frameworks, job structures, and people programs.
  • Monitor market trends and recommend program enhancements to maintain competitiveness and alignment with business priorities.
  • Oversee retirement savings programs across the globe (Canada, US, Germany, UK and Australia).
  • Lead the HR systems function and the definition of the HR technology strategy and roadmap, including optimization, governance and data visualisation.
  • Oversee the evolution of the SuccessFactors (SAP) environment and connection with the broader Cirque ecosystem.
  • Partner with HR, IT, Payroll, and external providers to improve processes, automation, integrations, and user experience.
  • Advance dashboards, reporting, and workforce insights capabilities to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Ensure HR data integrity, reporting accuracy, and scalable system practices.
