About The Position

Citrin Cooperman is seeking a Commercial Tax Services (CTS) Manager in its Tax Department. The role involves reviewing tax returns, tax projections, and tax workpapers; providing consulting, planning, and compliance services; and managing clients’ day-to-day needs and tax return processes. The manager identifies and resolves tax issues, conducts tax research, coordinates with a Partner on project planning and communication, and maintains proactive client relationships. The role also includes coaching, mentoring, and training staff, as well as staying current on tax issues and business trends affecting clients.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
At least 7 years of progressive public accounting experience.
Strong tax knowledge and experience with S corporations and partnerships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple client engagements.
Track record of building and sustaining client relationships and delivering high-quality client service.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
Proficiency with CCH Axcess, Sureprep, BNA Income Tax Planner, CCH AnswerConnect, RIA Checkpoint, XCM, and Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree in Taxation.
CPA.
Knowledge of individual taxation.

Responsibilities
