About The Position

The Manager, Commercial Marketing, focuses on Global Consumer Marketing and Global Integrated Marketing initiatives, including the go-to-market of Global Promotions (Base Promotions, Flash Sales, Targeted Offers, and Loyalty Offers) and other strategic commercial mechanisms, the strategy and execution of Promotional/Tactical Email, Engagement Email and Direct Mail Marketing, Direct Sales support, and more. This is a highly cross-collaborative role, with key relationships being Commercial, Sales, Revenue Management, Digital, Contact Center, all Marketing Channels, and more.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Retail, Consumer or Product Marketing running multi-channel campaigns
  • Degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields.
  • Experience developing integrated campaigns and communication plans that drive business results through key insights.
  • Analytical skills and an entrepreneurial approach to spot and act on opportunities to drive increased performance.
  • Proven track record of customer campaign development and understanding of how to translate insight into action.
  • Knowledge of email best practices including targeted lists, subject lines, messaging, deliverability, and CAN-SPAM/anti-spam legislation.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for numerous Consumer Marketing sub-channels that work together to fuel the commercial success of the brand, including but not limited to, Multi-Channel Global Integrated Promotional Campaigns, Global Promotional Emails, Global Tactical Direct Mail, and Direct Global Webinar Support.
  • Oversees the Go-To- Market strategy and execution of all Global Integrated Marketing Promotions including but not limited to, Base Retail Promotions, Flash Sales, Targeted Offers, and Product Specific offers, including full multi-channel strategy and suite of associated creative assets, with expectation of developing three to four of these integrated campaigns concurrently.
  • Responsible for aligning the commercial engine (Revenue, Sales, and Marketing) and business at large on each launch of integrated promotions, commercial offers, or changes thereof, including calendar planning, offer brainstorming, competitive analysis, offer buy-in, creative briefing, QA, global distribution, global communications plan, and go-live.
  • Manages the Go-to-Market of non-promotional commercial offerings, including new fare types/codes/structures, amenities, and inclusions.
  • Executes all dedicated, global promotional Consumer Emails across five major markets, inclusive of segmentation, QA, creative briefing, and testing, with oversight of more than 12+ highly dynamic campaigns per month.
  • Develops and executes the multi-channel contact strategy of Global Consumer Webinars to drive webinar participation to support the growth of Direct business, including email marketing, paid media retargeting, and tests of additional channels to grow reach.
  • Partners with CRM team to optimize and enhance segmentation and personalization efforts within promotional and engagement emails to support lifts in Click Through Rate, Bookings and Revenue.
  • Works closely with Creative Team and channel owners to optimize creative formats, delivery, and testing to drive creative performance in each channel within the integrated suite.
  • Partners with Digital team to optimize promotional expression and merchandising on the .com for message clarity and conversion.
  • Partners with Commercial and Analytics teams for overall promotional reporting across integrated channels to gauge Promotion performance vs. promotional type and strategy.
  • Support the Direct Sales team in spearheading regional commercial priorities via consumer-focused digital events and marketing collateral aimed at driving leads and incremental revenue.
