Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Clinical Operations Manager to join the Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) team in Vancouver. Reporting to the VCH Operations Director on the Vancouver Community team, this specific Clinical Operations Manager role will be responsible for supporting a unique Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program operating in Vancouver. The successful applicant should come with strong leadership skills and experience in team design and development, as well as a background in leading clinical teams, change management, and budget oversight. A focus will be on applicants who demonstrate experience partnering with our key service stakeholders of Policing, Corrections, and Justice to help shape service design and delivery to this unique ACT population with co-occurring health and criminogenic factors. As a Manager, Clinical Operations with VCH you will: Provide clinical and operational leadership to frontline interdisciplinary clinical care teams in a health program that directly supervises, at a minimum, Nurses at the Level 4 or 5 classification/wage rate. Be responsible for delivering services through a team of clinical and partner agency staff in an outreach focused, community-based setting. Provide leadership and direction for operations management, planning, implementation and evaluation of services and activities related to utilization and risk management, and quality improvement of the clinical program/department. Play a critical role addressing the ongoing issues/needs of clients and their families while supporting client transitions in their continuum of care, including acute, tertiary, ACT, and other community health care environments. Support in service model development, planning, implementation, and management of an ACT team, working as a team player with colleagues and co-workers and in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve excellence in client and family centred care, education and research.
