About The Position

Manager, CE HR Operations Center, Continuing Education at BYU plays a vital role in expanding educational access and supporting lifelong learning. The Manager, CE HR Operations Center leads the execution and continuous improvement of HR operational services that support faculty, staff, and programs across Continuing Education. Working closely with the CE HR Business Partner, this position translates HR strategy into effective operational execution while providing leadership to HR staff responsible for service delivery. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of HR experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong operational and process management skills.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage organizational change and handle multiple high-priority situations.
  • Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints must hold and be worthy to hold a current temple recommend.

Nice To Haves

  • 7–10 years of HR experience.
  • HR certification.
  • Understanding of Continuing Education programs, services, and hiring processes.
  • Experience supervising HR operations teams.
  • Experience developing HR reports, dashboards, and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR operational services for Continuing Education, including hiring, onboarding, payroll processing, and HR transactions.
  • Ensure HR processes are timely, accurate, compliant, and effectively documented.
  • Oversee employment contracts, templates, and employment application reviews to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor HR activities for compliance risks and coordinate with leadership, legal counsel, and BYU HR on employee relations matters.
  • Administer HR systems, maintain data integrity, and develop reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Supervise and develop HR operations staff while identifying and implementing process improvements.
