About The Position

The Manager Catering solicits new accounts and maintains and strengthens relationships with existing accounts. The role is part of the Sales Department and focuses on developing corporate and social event business, coordinating event arrangements, and ensuring events are properly serviced.

Responsibilities

• Travel to meet with corporate clients or call them by telephone to solicit annual, weekday, and weekend business.
• Conduct property tours, promote facilities and services, and answer client inquiries.
• Develop and deliver persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients.
• Develop clients’ menus, write contracts and letters, and organize other arrangements for social and corporate events.
• Supervise and attend the overall setup and implementation of events and meetings.
• Communicate with relevant departments to ensure proper account servicing.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly catering and sales reports.
