Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Category Management, Sales Strategy, or related CPG roles
  • Proven ability to analyze data and convert insights into business recommendations
  • Experience working with syndicated data sources (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, or similar)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with analytical and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with retail customers to align category strategies with their business objectives and profit goals.
  • Analyze and share customer and shopper research to inform joint category plans and promotional strategies.
  • Collaborate with retailers to design and implement tailored product placement and promotional activities that drive sales and foot traffic.
  • Conduct joint business planning sessions to set category goals, monitor performance metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Monitor manufacturer and retailer performance against category targets, ensuring adequate product supply and effective discounting.
