About The Position

PepsiCo is seeking a Category Management Manager to join the North America Insights & Intelligence (NAI&I) Team. This role will support selected categories on the PepsiCo Beverage Kroger Category Leadership team, focusing on driving accelerated growth, market share gains, and elevated customer partnership through shopper and customer insights. The position involves leading shopper and consumer insights support for Joint Business Planning, Internal PepsiCo Initiatives, and identifying new opportunities for business growth. The NAI&I team utilizes a human-centric and integrated approach to insights and intelligence to drive market-leading growth for PepsiCo.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience across CPG and Category Management preferred
  • Proficiency in shopper data and analytics
  • Thorough understanding of Circana and/or Nielsen syndicated POS and Panel data
  • Well versed in Microsoft suite of products such as Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI
  • Comfortable and desiring to present at the Senior Executive Level
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task
  • Strong project management skills, ability to thrive in a matrix environment
  • Creativity and strategy skills
  • Persuasive leadership and influencing skills
  • Business relationship management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, data analysis, problem-solving, and storytelling experience
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

  • Preferred experience with Kroger’s OnDemand (Market 6) data, 84.51 Stratum and the KOMPASS process

Responsibilities

  • Work across PepsiCo and Kroger teams to lead transformational big bets initiatives on the selected PepsiCo Beverage businesses
  • Help lead insights partnership for the development, implementation and tracking of the Joint Business Plan with Kroger and the PepsiCo Beverages Annual Operating Plan
  • Ensure insights and plans drive category growth, market share expansion and financial plan success
  • Develop impactful content to convey growth opportunities to internal and external partners across the main levers of our business with focus on assortment, space, promotions, pricing and displays
  • Utilize information from multiple sources such as 84.51 Stratum, OnDemand, Circana POS, Circana Panel, Numerator and internal research to identify opportunities and develop growth strategies
  • Develop into a subject matter expert in using 84.51 Stratum to understand the Kroger shopper and how strategies impact their shopper behaviors
  • Develop strong working relationships with Kroger, 84.51, PLM, Internal PepsiCo teams and all relevant business partners
