About The Position

This role involves supervising case management and clerical staff, managing daily schedules, workload distribution, and resource contracting to ensure efficient patient care. The manager will communicate with administration and medical staff regarding admission appropriateness, length of stay, discharge planning, and complex case issues. They will also serve as a subject matter expert on utilization criteria, appeals, reviews, and case management system documentation. Additionally, the manager will cover units directly as needed while overseeing post-acute tracking, disease management programs, and daily operational priorities.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
3 years of experience required.
1 year of leadership or management experience required.
RN licensure or MSW; LCSW preferred
prior case management experience

Nice To Haves

Case Manager credentialed from the American Case Management Association (ACMA) preferred.
Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) preferred.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing preferred.
Social Worker credentialed from the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling preferred.
